L'observatoire offre une vue plongeante sur un étang ancien dont la roselière abrite des espèces spécifiques : Blongios nain, Rousserolle effarvatte en été. Bon point d'observation pour la Cistude d'Europe. En hiver, canards et foulques se partagent l'espace. La chance aidant, un Butor étoilé ou des cerfs peuvent traverser l'étang. Observation : recommandée le matin et en fin d'après-midi.
